With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Williams Doudiet of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Norman departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Norman may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Norman leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Birkbeck Doudiet and Ruth Platt Doudiet. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Rogers Doudiet; his daughter Michelle R. Doudiet of Charleston; his sister Elizabeth Doudiet Tyrrell (Charlie) of Hollywood, SC; and his niece Rainey Elizabeth Wilson (Taylor) of Richmond, VA.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ-St. Paul's Cemetery (5034 State Rd S-10-1160, Hollywood, SC 29449).
