She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Zimmerman and Patricia Crozier; her siblings, Dale (Laurie), Karen (Phil), David (Sherry), Dennis Zimmerman Findlay (Barbara) and Denise Sweatman Bonneau (Sammie); her husband John Barras; her sons, Michael Seegers, Jay Barras (Erica Jenkins) and John Barras (JungHee Barras); and her grandchildren, Colene Barras, Merra Cardwell, Krisana Cardwell and Dannion Cardwell.
In honor of Peggy's life and her brave battle with cancer, the family requests that contributions be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org), based in Atlanta, GA. This organization held a special place in Peggy's heart, and it is the family's hope that donations made in her name will help bring hope and healing to others facing similar challenges.
