Bennett; his aunt Leola Bennett; his close friend Minnie Partlow; his brother Larry L. Butler; his children, Shonta'Y. Butler, Teeki Clay, Shanic L. Butler and Maurice Butler; his granddaughter Zoe S. Butler; and his siblings, Joanne H. Banks (Jethro), Jerry L. Holloway, Charles Holloway Jr. (Joyce), Barbara A. Alexander (Melville) and Brenda A. Holloway. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
