He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Rosen and Ida Rosen; and his son Joshua Dylan Rosen. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Marianne Way Rosen; his children, John E. Rosen of Folly Beach and Chandler Bold Winthrop; his grandchildren, Athena Bold, Cassidy Winthrop and John E. Bold of Charleston; his sister Debra Rosen; his brother-in-law Steven Stephens of Mill Valley, CA; his brother Robert N.; his sister-in-law Susan Rosen of Charleston; his stepmother Betty Rosen of Charleston; his nieces, Annie Rosen (Jonathan Torre) of Charleston and Alexandra Gourvitch (Daniel) of New York; and his nephew Ernest William Rosen (Schyler) of New York.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Cemetery.
