With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Wise of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Linda Goodwin and Bishop Carl Pinckney; his parents, Harold Wise and Bernice Wise; and his siblings, Carol Wise and Harold Wise, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Alice Ligon Wise; and his children, Richard Allen Pinckney (Hernetta), Carol Deleston, Anthony Wise (Crystal) and Lateca McClary (Eric, Sr.). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild along with a host of other relatives and friends.
