He is survived by: his children, Robert "David" Sojourner, Jr. (Christina) and Katherine Marie Sojourner; his brother Frederick Edward Sojourner (Caroline); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Sojourner, Walker Sojourner and Julianna Sojourner; his great grandchild Jackson Rhett Davis; and his wife Paulette.
