With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Moate Waller of Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Moate Waller and William I. Waller, Sr.; his wife Ora Elizabeth Waller; his son Charles Brett Waller of Charleston, SC; and his brothers, Dr. Charles Eugene Waller and William I. "Billy" Waller.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Elizabeth Waller Smith (Doug Smith) of Chesapeake, VA and Robert Martin Waller (Susan Waller) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Jason Smith, Kevin Smith, Kaylie Carter and Chelsey Creel; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Britton Smith, Jackson, Bennett Carter, Henry and Eliza Creel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel (232 Calhoun St, Charleston, SC 29401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Magnolia Cemetery (70 Cunnington Ave, Charleston, SC 29405).
