She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Belle Powers and John Henry Barnes; her husband John Diedrich Bendt III; her son Steven Eric Bendt; and her sisters, Ellen Barnes Rooney and Kathleen Barnes Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Diane Bendt and John Diedrich Bendt IV; her grandchildren, Steven Eric Bendt (Jessica), Mariah Shuman, Jeremy Bendt (Casey) and Leah Wagner Myaki (Shinya); her great grandchildren, Makenzie Bendt and Steven Bendt; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Bendt Godfrey and Annie Laurie Bendt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
