He was predeceased by: his former wife Elfriede Haas; his parents, Michael Haas and Gisela Haas; and his siblings, Oscar Haas and Trudy Haas.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Haas (Linda) and Kristina'Tina'Farrell (Michael); his grandchildren, Anna, Grace, Elizabeth and John Michael; his brother Richard Haas (Ann); and his wife Happy.

Memorial Contributions can be made to his wife's Happy place Respite Care of Charleston.
