With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sally Hicks of Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora Belle Hoff and George F. Smith Sr.; her husband Carroll V. Hicks Jr.; her son Mark Carroll Hicks; her brothers, William Earl Smith and George F. Smith Jr.; and her sister-in-law Gracie Lou Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Otto (Robert), Terry Harrison (Hank) and Bill Hicks; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Harrison, Jodi Fortunato and Julie St. Jean (Joey); her great grandchildren, Madison Paxson (Tyler), Mason St. Jean, Dean Joseph, Dino and Amanda Fortunato; her great great grandchild Noah Outlaw; her sister Geneva Boggs; and her siblings-in-law, Linda J. Smith, Maxine Evors and Michael Kennedy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
