Steve Emerson Agan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2025, Steve Emerson Agan of Charleston, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Berry Agan and Alsie McGuffee Agan; and his son-in-law James Lee. He is survived by: his wife Janell Terry Agan of Daniel Island, SC; his daughters, Jennifer Agan Lee of Daniel Island, SC and Lisa Catherine Shaw (Hill) of Daniel Island, SC; his grandchildren, Ryland H Shaw IV, Catherine Alyce Shaw, Emerson Grace Shaw and Sophia Grace Lee; his stepson David Burford; and his stepgranddaughters, Destini and Teralynn Burford of Charleston.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc. (1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
