With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Rison (Charleston, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Lila Smith; and her brother Greg Smith. She is survived by: her husband David Rison; her children, John Rison and Jennifer Rison; her grandchildren, Samantha, Gracen and Weslyn Rison; and her sister Cindy Stukes.
