With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Felder Smith (Charleston, South Carolina), born in Bowman, South Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sylvia Felder Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Thompson Felder and Franklin Orville Felder. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Edwin "Buddy" Smith of Charleston, SC.; her sons, Dr. E. Terry Smith, Jr. (Charlotte) and Bryan Felder Smith of Yonges Island, SC; her grandchildren, Lauren Smith, Natalie Smith, Edwin T. Smith, III (T. J.), Weston Shea Smith and Chad Lane (Liza); and her great grandchildren, Carson and Logan Lane.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
