We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2023, at the age of 90, Viola McCoy Smalls of Charleston, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Terri and Stevenson; her siblings, Johnnie McCoy (Carolyn), Alicia Hilton, William "June" McCoy (Bernice) and Annette Booker (Kenneth); her adoptive son Robert Campbell (Bobby); and her close friend Elanore Brown. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Greater Macedonia African Methodist Episcopal Church Building Fund in memory of Viola McCoy Smalls.
