She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas B. Welch and Virginia Rodgers Welch; and her husband Richard Abraham Pitts, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia Lilienthal, MD (Leslie) of Lake Worth, FL and Wendy Colvin (John) of Winchester, TN; and her grandchildren, Rachel Lilienthal, Robert Lilienthal, Adeline Colvin and Alexander Colvin.
