He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Robert Christensen and Ann Sofia Nilsen Christensen. He is survived by: his significant other Linda Christensen of Pawleys Island; his son Brian Christensen; his daughter-in-law Sarah of Boca Raton, Florida; and his sister Greta Christensen of Pawleys Island.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Walter's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
