He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Hazel, Sr. and Rovena Agnes Jones Hazel. He is survived by: his children, Christiaan P. Fleming and Carissa M. Grant White; his grandchildren, Laylah M. Daniel and Tatiyana Fleming; and his siblings, Andrea Hazel (Frank Hamilton), Rovena Hazel Owens (Edward), Kevin Hazel (Jocelyn), Anna Maria Hazel Jones (Andrew) and Allan Perry Hazel (Judy).
