He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Corder Stephens Hilton; his wife Margie (Bowers); and his siblings, Katherine, Meredith and Hugh.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy and Billy (Shana); his stepson Chris Black; and his brothers, Jim Stephens (Paula) and John Stephens (Jean). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral (2501 Bees Ferry Rd, Charleston, SC 29414). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
