It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Welsh Redfearn (Cheraw, South Carolina), born in Chesterfield, South Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ben Heath and Bessie Rayfield Welsh; her husband William E. "Billy" Redfearn, Jr.; and her siblings, Wilbert Welsh, Thomas Jack Welsh, Lawson Welsh, Benson P. Welsh, Charles Welsh, Arie Lisenby, Hester Moore, Janelle Graham, Mildred Welsh and Gerald Welsh.

She is survived by : her children, Thomas William Redfearn of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sarah Whitley (Avera) of Oakboro, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Redfearn, Dot Welch and Margaret Welch. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
