It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Smith Watson (Cheraw, South Carolina), born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manley Everette Smith, Jr. and Pauline Annie Buff Smith; her children, Bryant Watson and Dana Carol Kyzer; and her grandchild Taylor McKinney.
She is survived by: her son Miles E. "Mike" Watson, Jr.; her siblings, Skip Smith of Murrells Inlet, SC, Clova Smith of Cheraw, SC, Nancy Workman of Cheraw, SC and Paula Jacobs (Marty) of Chesterfield, SC; her half-brother Edward Connors (Marsha) of Colorado; her grandchildren, Chelsea McKinney, Bryant Kyzer and Sam Flowers; and her son-in-law Hugh Jones.
