With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte K. Berger (Cheraw, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2026 at the age of 71. As we bid adieu to Charlotte's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Charlotte has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Cameron and Anna Spivey Cameron; and her brother George Timothy Cameron. She is survived by: her husband Hugh Charles "Chuck" Berger; her children, Larry Brummett of London, KY and Angel Laster of London, KY; her brothers, Mark R. Cameron and Charles Russell Cameron of Hamilton, OH; and her granddaughters, Mercedes "Sadie" and Breanna. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
