He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Eric Johnson and Carolyn Graham Johnson Aton; his brother Craig Johnson; his parents-in-law, Eddie and Mary Virginia Moore Chewning; and his siblings-in-law, Darrell Chewning, Leon Dalton and Beverly Chewning Hinson.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Chewning Johnson; his daughter Ericka; his son-in-law Josh Chaney of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Lela Ray, Landon and Greyson; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Dalton of Asheville, Kathy and Butch Thompson of Wadesboro; and his stepmother Celesta Johnson of Robertsdale, AL. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kevin Lear (140 2nd St, Cheraw, SC 29520).
