She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard F. Ward and Lorna Morrison Ward; her former life partner Dennis A. Nolan; her son Patrick A. Nolan; and her brothers, Larry Ward and Wayne Ward.

She is survived by : her husband Fred D. Lear; her children, Sky Nolan (Hope) and Buffie Kasler (Doug) of Wallace, SC; her grandchildren, Skylar Lee, Alexis Cooper, Hadley Moore, Landon Nolan, Kaleb Kasler and Kelsie Rayne Kasler; her great grandchildren, Daxlyn Lee, Nolan Presnell and Hasher Jones; her siblings, Harry Ward, Walter Ward, Marie Peele and Madeline Bonesteele; and her brother-in-law Robert Lear.
