It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Marie Johnson (Cheraw, South Carolina), who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Baptiste Trimbour and Mary Margaret Hoff; her former husband Jonas Richard Whitley, Jr.; her husband Laylon Jack Johnson; and her siblings, Louis Trimbour, Roger Trimbour, Jean Baptiste Trimbour and Hortence Félicie Royer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joelle Cannon of Cheraw, SC and Julie Kimrey of Chesterfield, SC; her brother Valentin Trimbour (Ginette) of France; her stepdaughters, Kim Puckett of Denver, NC and Annette Wilkerson of Ruby, SC; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Moseley, Megan Harris, Melissa Moseley, William Tucker, Jr., Tiffany Morton and Danielle Teal; her nibling Walmart; and her pets, Rex, Charcoal and Tiny Bit.
