He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Calvin "T. C." and Flora Nelle McRae Johnson; and his brothers, Thomas "Tommy" Johnson and Richard Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Ronna Snipes Johnson; his children, David Johnson of Lincolnton, NC, Daniel Johnson (Liz) of Charlotte, NC and Darlene Johnson Butler (Todd) of Cheraw, SC; his brothers, Perry Johnson (Sharon) of McFarlan, NC and Jeffrey Johnson (Shannon) of McFarlan, NC; his grandchildren, Jordan Smith (Lucas), Luke Johnson, Eli Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Ethan Johnson, William Johnson, Audra Butler and Eryn Butler; his pet Chloe; and also Gail Whittington of McFarlan, NC.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser Funeral Home (1020 State Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cheraw First Baptist Church (126 Greene St, Cheraw, SC 29520).
