It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret McAllister Self of Cheraw, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Margaret McAllister'Peggy'Hite and James Alfred Self; her sons, James Paul'Tripp'Smyth III (Amber) of Florence, SC and Timothy Hunt Smyth (Justina) of Barron, Wisconsin.; her grandchildren, Jaslyn, Tavin and Stetson; her siblings, Michael Hunt Self of Myrtle Beach, Jamie Tuck Self of Surfside Beach and Paige Self Thomas (Joey) of Florence, SC; her nieces and nephews, Kevin Self, Heather Self, Caleb Davis, Jamie Davis, Allen Sanderson, Austin Sanderson and Aaron Sanderson; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson Self, Ethan Mehl, Zach Mehl, Rett Self, Kaitlyn Mehl, Lilly Self, Eden Sanderson and Silas Sanderson. She was also cherished by her family, friends, and the children.
