She was predeceased by: her mother Mamie Jacobs Gainey Soles; her husband Henry Alcie McLain, Sr.; her brothers, David Gainey and Charles Gainey; and her grandsons, Henry A. "Trey" McLain, III and Wesley Lee McLain.
She is survived by: her children, Betty M. Boatwright (Lance) of Cheraw, SC, Henry A. McLain, Jr. (Edna White) of Cheraw, SC and Anthony Wade "Tony" McLain of Cheraw, SC; and her grandchildren, Angie Denise Boatwright, Anthony Chadwick "Chad" Boatwright (Nicole), Aleshia McLain and Anthony Clint "Bubba" McLain (Meaghan). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great -great grandchild.
