She was predeceased by: her parents, Landon Miles Gentry and Jayne Turnage Gentry; her brother Johnny; and her son Stephen Scott Burr. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Edward Burr and Jayne.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser Funeral Home (1020 State Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (117 3rd St, Cheraw, SC 29520).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Stephen Scott Burr Scholarship Fund at First United Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
