With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia C. Byrd (Cheraw, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Pryor and Eddie Mae York Craven; her husband William Bennett Byrd; and her siblings, Colvin Craven and Jackie Flournoy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Byrd Cooper of Wallace, SC and Holly Byrd Copeland (Chad) of Cheraw, SC; her grandchildren, Sarah Anne Cooper, TJ Knight (Victoria), Alex Knight, Drew Copeland and Reese Segars; her great grandchildren, Gavin Cooper Kennedy, Lillie Ray Kennedy, Daisy Knight and Porter Knight; and her nephews, Richard Flournoy and Tim Flournoy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kiser Funeral Home (1020 State Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
