She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde K. Laney, Sr. and Margaret Powell Laney; and her brother Clyde K. Laney, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Harley Jackson Rushing, III (Zenda) of Cheraw, SC, Mary Virginia "Jenny" Rushing Outen (Jimmy) of Cheraw, SC, Margaret "Ellen" Rushing Boan of Greenville, SC, Ruth Rushing and Laney Ann Rushing Young (Danny) of Sumter, SC; her grandchildren, Harley Rushing, IV (Chandler), Virginia Lauren Outen, Kimberly Howard (Billy), Blair Boan (Miranda), Hunter Young (Carman) and Danielle Young (Wriston Gardner); her great grandchildren, Elle Howard, Mary Margaret Howard, Virginia Boan, Lucy Boan, Mary Boan and Jack Wyatt Rushing; her brother Bill Laney (Betty); and her sister-in-law Judy Laney.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (117 3rd St, Cheraw, SC 29520). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
