He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Previtte and Mamie Mathis Previtte; his wife Marie Hatcher Previtte; his son Charles Previtte; and his brothers, James Ross Previtte and Edwin Previtte.
He is survived by: his sons, Gerald Previtte (Sylvia) of Wallace, SC and Ronnie Previtte (Betty Newberry) of Wallace, SC; his grandchildren, Stephanie Previtte and RJ Previtte (Emory Roscoe); his great grandchildren, Angel Luetke (Alec), Hannah Previtte and Victoria Cohoon; and his friend Betty Hendrix. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
