He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Lyles Young; his sons, Walt Young (Jen) of Charlotte, NC, Matthew Young (Kara) of Cape Girardeau, MO and Justin Young (Cynthia) of Cheraw, SC; his grandchildren, Kristyn Young of Rockingham, NC, Matthew Young, Jr. of St. Louis, MO and Trenton Raymond Young of Cape Girardeau, MO; his brothers, Arthur Young of Darlington, SC, Tommy Young of Darlington, SC and Dr. Ricky Young of Darlington, SC; his nephew Garrison Lyles (Addie) of Greenville, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Oby Lyles (Debbie) of Greenville, SC and Margaret Lyles of Darlington, SC..
