It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Mathis Starling (Cheraw, South Carolina), who passed away on July 12, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Margaret Linton Mathis; her close friends, Wayne Bryant, Lessie Linton and Michelle Tolson; her husband Edward Starling; her daughters, Janet, Chrissy Blackburn (Rawhide) of Pageland, S. C. and Becky Cason (Matthew) of Society Hill, S. C.; her grandchildren, Margaret Alice Wilson, Baden Edward Davis, Samantha Grace and Jacob Bryant Cason; her nieces, Djuana Buchanan, Brandi Hansen, Marian, Edwina and Margo Mathis; her nephew Brandon Buchanan; and her siblings, Woodrow W. Mathis, Jr. and Anna Margaret Tucker.
