He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Lynch and Evelyn C. Lynch; his stepson Chris Hydrick; his brother Merrill Lynch; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Lynch and Walter Chamblee, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Joy Bates Lynch; his stepdaughters, Kim Cauthen (Bill) of Cheraw, SC and Celeste Hatch (David) of Anderson, SC.; his sister Karen Chamblee of Seaford, DE; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Bayley Hydrick, Caden Cauthen, Joshua, Hailey, Lilly and Cooper Hatch.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1607 State Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520).
