He was predeceased by: his spouse Jettie Philbeck Hardin; his parents, Roy Logan Hardin and Pinkie Fortenberry Hardin; his son Scottie Logan Hardin; and his siblings, Betty Allen and Forrest Hardin.
He is survived by: his son John A. Hardin (Julie) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Jackson Hardin (Sarah) and Caitlan Farmer (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Hardin, Adalynn Hardin, Logan Hardin, Brighton Farmer, Sterling Farmer and Maverick Farmer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
