She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Hudson (Gene Gossett), Amanda Patton (Harold Patton), Shelly Martin (Brian Martin) and Gabriel Hudson; and her siblings, Patsy Williams (Ronnie Williams), Otis Thaxton Jr. (Melissa Thaxton) and Jody Thaxton (Cherie Thaxton). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
