He is survived by: his sons, Craig Buckner (Amanda) of Rutherfordton, NC and Collin Buckner (Cindy) of Chesnee; his brother Daniel Buckner (Macie) of Inman, R. B; his grandsons, Jeremy Howard (Nikki), Cole Buckner (Hope), Garrett Buckner (Hannah) and Easton Buckner; his niece Jennifer Colestock; his nephews, James Cooley, Randy Buckner and Alan Buckner; and his great grandchildren, Deacon Howard and Boyd Buckner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Mr. Buckner's name to Cooley Springs Baptist Church.
