She is survived by: her husband Bobby Powell; her children, Scott Powell (Kim) and Denise Cohan (Wayne); her grandchildren, Amber Samuels (Fletcher) and Jesse Powell (Leighna); her great grandchildren, Austin Samuels, Mason Samuels and Watson Powell; her stepgreat-granddaughter Amillya "Milly" Kuehn; her daughter-in-law Robyn Lentz Powell; her siblings, Robert "Doug" Painter (Frances), Cecil Painter (Shelbia), Marshall Painter and Althea Champion (Melvin); Keith, Michelle, Jessica, Kaylie and Hanna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
