It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Willard Davis Sr. of Chesnee, South Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Jefferson and Lillie Splawn Davis; and his wife Margaret Easler Davis. He is survived by: his children, Dianne D. Wofford (Fred) of Moore, Renee Davis (Josephine Porter) of Oak Park, IL. and Howard Willard Davis, Jr. of Mooresboro, NC.; his grandchildren, Lanie Kimbrell (Rodney), Lisa Smith (Carl), Dana Davis, Brooke Shugart (Henry), Bonnie Thomas, Emerson Porter, Lillie Porter and Hogan Porter; and his brother Jimmy Davis of Spartanburg. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
