With sadness, we share the passing of Margaret C. Howell (Chesnee, South Carolina). Margaret, born on November 21, 1937 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Carl Cooper and Ruth Johnson Cooper; and her sister Barbara Hayes. She is survived by: her sons, Kip Howell of Greer and Tim Howell of Inman; her siblings, Kathy Henderson of Spartanburg, Doris Bennett of Boiling Springs, Frank Cooper of Chesnee, Broadus Cooper (Della) of Boiling Springs, Marvin Cooper (Diane) of Moore and Donald Cooper (Becky) of Chesnee; and her grandchildren, Wendy Howell, Brian Howell, Steven Howell and Aaron Howell.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Harris-Nadeau Mortuary & Crematory (5880 Chesnee Hwy, Chesnee, SC 29323). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Prince Memorial Gardens (126 Fort Prince Rd, Wellford, SC 29385).
