He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carroll Ray Porter Sr. and Cleo Carter Porter; his sons, Ray Porter (Jen) of Spartanburg and Chris Porter (Melissa) of Union Mills, NC.; his brother Ken Porter (Shelly) of Hickory Tavern; his grandchildren, Shelby Porter, Emily Porter, Alyssa Stephens (Dusty), Chucky Porter and Emma Porter; and his great grandchildren, Hannah-Rae of Dawn, C. J, Tavion, Emory, Emerson and Emberleigh.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Nadeau Mortuary (5880 Chesnee Hwy, Chesnee, SC 29323). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Harris-Nadeau Mortuary (5880 Chesnee Hwy, Chesnee, SC 29323). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Springhill Memorial Gardens (1011 S Alabama Ave, Chesnee, SC 29323).
