It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Hoy of Chesnee, South Carolina, born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis M. Chastain and Beatrice June Combahee Chastain; and her siblings, Martie Clifton Chastain and Cynthia Chastain Bradford. She is survived by: her husband Michael Bryan Hoy; her son William Walker Hoy; her sister Lydia Chastain Patterson (Glenn); and her aunt Doris Chastain Solesby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
