It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard Earl Davis (Chesnee, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Ray C. Davis; his grandson Brad Hembree; his great grandchild Jack West; and his great great grandchild Brady West. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Ivey of Union, SC, Yvonne Poteat (Larry) of Spartanburg, SC, Barbara Corn (Daniel) of Columbus, NC and Gene Davis (Libby) of Chesnee, SC; his brothers, Joe E. Davis and Donald T. Davis (Glennie); and his sister-in-law Diane Davis of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church Building Fund, 1551 Bryant Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
