He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gail Bennett McDaniel; his children, William Blain McDaniel, Jr. (Julie) of Chesnee, Andrea Blanton (Myrtle Beach) and Melissa McDaniel of Chesnee; his sister Betty Poteat (Tony) of Spartanburg; his grandchildren, Eric McDaniel, Jared McDaniel, Dylan Blanton and Grace Blanton; and his great grandchild Adrian Morgan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 3317 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341.
