He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hammond Bright and Minnie Jane Stroud Bright; his daughter Natalie Mechelle "Mickie" Bright; and his brother Jessie Bright. He is survived by: his wife Martha Wages Bright; his daughter Laura Bright-Trout (Bradley) of Rock Hill, SC; and his brothers, J. T. Bright of Jacksonville, FL, Will Bright of Chester, SC and Alfred Bright (Doris) of Chester, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
