It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Heckle Baker of Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harvey Newton Heckle and Mary Helen Pitts Heckle; and her husband Charles Edward Baker. She is survived by : her sister Amelia Heckle Stone; and her daughters, Anita Tremblay Baker and Carol Minton Baker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

The family asks that donations be made to Town Theatre and to Kilbourne Park Baptist Church.
