It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Emily Roddey Miller (Chester, South Carolina), who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Belvin Barber Roddey, Sr. and Juanita Emily Dunn Roddey; her husband James Walker "Jim" Miller; her siblings, B. B. Roddey, Jr., Harry W. Roddey, Carlisle Roddey, Aileen R. Knox and Eloise R. Bagley; her nephews, Michael Thomas Roddey, Rick Franklin and Chuck Bagley; and her niece Harriett McGee.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, John C. Roddey of Chester, Lee Roddey (Pam) of Chester, Debbie Williams (Howard) of Lancaster, Donna Hagins (Mike) of Lancaster, Cindy Hughes (Dean) of Heath Springs, Barbara Ledbetter (Wayne) of Columbia and Suzanne Combs (Eddie) of Gilbert.
