He is survived by: his siblings, Tim Scates, Eddie Scates, Doug Scates, Sheila Aiken (Lester) of Chester, SC and Tammy Hudson of Chester, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Barron Funeral Home (133 Wylie St, Chester, SC 29706). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (149 Cemetery St, Chester, SC 29706).
