He is survived by: his parents, Bill Oates and Vickie Oates of Chester, SC; his daughter Anna Bradley; his wife Anna Hinson; his son Sam; and his caregivers, Linda Byars, Cheryl Evans and Tammy Cooper. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
