He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Green and Lela Powell Green; and his brothers, Boyd, Fred, James, Lloyd and Bill Green.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Nix Green; and his children, Charles Green, Jr. (Suzanne) of Richburg, Jeff Green (Heidi) of Gastonia, NC and Hazel Dove of Chester. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grand-children.
